paralyzing cross-country delirium

SO i've arrived in new york after one of the longest, dazed, and delirious two and a half weeks of my life--spent on a school bus filled with bunk beds, pretty lights, and three sleepy bickering people. we drove until we were in paralysis mode and couldn't fathom surroundings other than desert. the route was: portland, san francisco, san jose (by accident), los angeles, santa fe, austin, houston, new orleans, pensacola, charlotte, and new york city. for some reason--totally out of character--i took very few photos on this trip. i don't know why, possibly because i was overwhelmed, possibly because this trip was very transitional for me and maybe i wasn't meant to be documenting everything? maybe it means my photos are going to change drastically very soon? unsure.
anyway it was fab and beaUTIFUL AND THERE ARE SO MANY CRUSTY ORANGE MOUNTAINS IN AMERICA and i hardly remember anything from the last few weeks everything just blurs together into golden highways and eating peanut butter with chopsticks.
